WET Challenge home consultations

The Region of Waterloo has a free home audit program to encourage water conservation called the “WET Challenge” – which stands for water efficient technology. It aims to reduce household water use from an average 200 litres down to 165 litres per person per day.

The first step is to do an on-line self-audit at www.regionofwaterloo.ca/wetchallenge and see how much water you are using. Once finished, the on-line tool estimates water consumption and carbon footprint, and gives lots of information on how to save water and the environment.

If your home uses more than 240 litres per person per day of water, you qualify for a free home consultation by REEP Green Solutions staff.

To book a consultation, call Region of Waterloo staff at 519-575-4400 ext 3151.
