As a visitor to REEP House for Sustainable Living you will be empowered to have a positive impact on our environment by greening your home.
You will see home improvement options side by side, and are invited to log in to the REEP Green Home Planner to compare costs and payback. REEP will help you connect with local suppliers and contractors and provide information about available grants and incentives.
Saturday Open House
Note: REEP House will be closed on Saturday, April 7, 2012 (Easter weekend)
We invite you to join us Saturdays at REEP House for our Green Renovation Open House. Guided tours of REEP House are available every hour on the hour. A Certified Energy Advisor will be on hand to answer your home energy savings questions.

Wednesday Tours
Every other Wednesday evening one of REEP's Certified Energy Advisors runs a full tour of REEP House. Tours are free of charge but advanced registration is required. You are welcome to make a donation to support REEP's mission for healthier homes and sustainable living in Waterloo Region. Gifts of $20 or more will recieve a charitable tax receipt.

Customized Group Tours
Want to learn more about specific aspects of building science or sustainable living? Customized tours can be arranged for your group of up to 25 people, at a rate of $100 per hour. Contact us today to learn more!
A Hands-on Experience
As you walk around REEP House, you will have the chance to put your hands inside walls, analyse the competing data and quality of installed products, learn about the REEP House retrofit design strategy and ask plenty of questions. REEP House is all about helping you find solutions for improving your own home or building.
We explore the significance of insulating and sealing the envelope, look at options for improving the quality of your home's heat and water use, and have a free-flowing discussion of some things we learned during the retrofitting process.

With the guidance of your REEP expert tour guide, start your Green Home Planner - your own step by step green renovation plan, so you can prioritize your choices about everything from light bulbs to solar panels, and link directly to suppliers, installers, financiers and government grants!
