Join Reep Green Solutions for a relaxing and informative evening stroll in downtown Kitchener to enjoy the pleasure of walking AND learn more about the natural and human history of our community. Along the route, Reep Community Outreach Volunteer, Michele Martin will share natural history tidbits about the plants, animals and habitats that are part of our community, while local historian rych mills will share some of his wide knowledge of the built environment.
Date: Thursday, July 26th
Leader: Michele Martin, Reep Community Outreach Volunteer; rych mills, Local Historian
Meeting Spot: The Reep House for Sustainable Living, 20 Mill Street, Kitchener
We encourage the use of active transportation such as walking or biking. The house is just off the Iron Horse Trail and we have a bike rack.
It is also easily accessible by GRT bus routes that use Queen and have stops near Mill St. If you drive, please consider carpooling with others you know are attending.
Since the house only has a few parking spots, there is free temporary parking available at the lot on Mitchell Street. From there you can walk across the green to the back of Reep House.
