Electric Cruise Night
June 6 | 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
A cruise night with a difference
Together with the Waterloo Region Electric Vehicle Association, we are hosting a cruise night with a difference. All the vehicles will be electric powered. Both the parking lots at the Reep House for Sustainable Living and for the Schneider Haus will be filled with electric cars and possibly other vehicles. Come see the different makes and models that are available and talk to local owners about their experiences!
See several types of vehicles!
We expect at least 10 vehicles including a Tesla Model S, several Volts and Kia Souls, a Nissan Leaf and a Zero Motorcycle.
Own an electric vehicle? We welcome you to come and show it off and share your experiences. Please register in advance so we save you a spot. Come cruise night at 6:30 p.m. Anyone owning an electric vehicle is welcome. WREVA membership is optional.
OPEN HOUSE: 7:00 – 9:00 P.M.
Explore the REEP House for Sustainable Living. Or come to check out the house’s environmental features.
We encourage the use of active transportation such as walking or biking. The house is just off the Iron Horse Trail and we have a bike rack.
It is also easily accessible by GRT bus routes that use Queen and have stops near Mill St.
If you drive, please consider carpooling with others you know are attending.
Since the house only has a few parking spots and the event is using the Schneider Haus parking lot, we have arranged for parking nearby at the office of WALTERFEDY (675 Queen St. S.). Victoria Park also has a parking lot that is close.
