Guelph Rain Garden Rebate Webinar: Ideas, Planning, & Design
This workshop will focus on how to plan and build your own rain garden and reap their benefits. Rain gardens attract pollinators and can even help to reduce flood risks in your neighbourhood.
You will also learn about how to design your rain garden to ensure you are eligible for the City of Guelph’s Rain Garden Rebate program. Workshop participants will get first access to book a free home visit to get started on their rain garden and rebate application.
There are limited spots available for rain garden visits on a first come, first served basis so it is strongly recommended to attend a workshop to reserve your spot.
Please note: this workshop and the Rain Garden Rebate are ONLY available to City of Guelph residents.

Rebecca Robinson | Director of Climate Change Adaptation, Reep Green Solutions
During her tenure with Reep Green Solutions, Becca has helped hundreds of property owners in the region create landscapes that are more resilient to climate change. She has led the design and construction of green infrastructure projects on residential and civic properties, as well as taught a series of workshops that help property owners develop and enact their own sustainable landscape plans. Becca received her Masters in Landscape Architecture from University of Michigan.
Ryan De Jong | Rain Garden Advisor, Reep Green Solutions
Ryan is from Vancouver, BC and grew up working on his family’s tree nursery. He has a Master’s of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and is a Rain Garden Advisor for Reep. Ryan loves photography, writing, and is an Editorial Board member for the OALA’s Ground magazine.
