What Does the Program Include?

Personalized Property Consultation

One to Two Native Trees

Delivery & Full Planting Service

Care and Maintenance Guide

Our service includes an in-person consultation with an arborist in your yard, as well as delivery and full planting service. We’ll identify the ideal places to plant trees and help you to select the species best suited to your yard and personal preferences. From there, Reep Green Solutions does all the work to get your tree(s) in the ground.

Note that due to constraints such as underground utilities, soil conditions or other factors there may be limits on where and how many trees you are able to plant.

Who is Eligible for the Program?

You must be a resident of Cambridge or Kitchener to apply. We will be contacting people on a first come, first served basis.

If you reside outside of those areas and are interested in bringing this program to your community, please sign up for email notifications using the form below or contact us at [email protected] to express your interest. Have any questions? Refer to our Terms and Conditions or contact us.

What is the Cost of the Program?

You pay the subsidized price of only $150-$220 per tree

Evergreen trees (2-4 ft tall at the time of planting) are $150, and deciduous trees (6-8 ft tall) cost $220 including full service planting. There is a $75 consultation fee due at the time of booking. If you order a tree the fee will be deducted from your total.

Your payment represents roughly half the value of our services, and the rest is covered by our funding partners.

We require 2 business days notice for change of appointment times or cancellation of site visits. Otherwise, a $40 fee applies.

Payment is processed at the time of the consultation with a credit card once you have decided on your tree species. The price ranges from $150.00 to $220.00 per tree depending on the species. This price includes a site consultation in your yard, a 5-8 foot tall native deciduous tree OR a 2-4 foot tall native evergreen tree, mulch, a planting and care guide, delivery and planting (on a different date). Your payment represents roughly half the value of our services, and the rest is covered by our funding partners.

If for any reason you decide not to purchase a tree at the time of the consultation, there is a $75 charge for the consultation. The consultation is valid for the current planting season, so if you make the decision to purchase a tree following your consultation, the $75 you have paid will be deducted from the cost of your order, provided there are no changes to the species or planting locations that were agreed to at the time of the consultation.

Deferring your order to the subsequent planting season (spring or fall) is at the discretion of Reep Green Solutions. If an order is placed and then cancelled after the site visit is complete, we will keep $75 for consultation fee + 25% of the cost of your order and refund you the rest.

Which Trees are Available?

All of the trees that are available to be planted, both deciduous and evergreen, are native to Ontario.

It’s important to plant native trees because they require less maintenance than exotic species and provide essential habitat for wildlife.

Our focus is to help you get the right tree for the right place to ensure your tree(s) will thrive and become an amenity in your yard for years to come.
